The Associate of Applied Science degree in Technical Modeling Design prepares students for entry-level positions as technical illustrators, drafter/designer technicians in business and computer animation and game design industries, as well as in the field of multimedia development. Computer-aided design (CAD) is used throughout the program for computer modeling and multimedia development.

The Hospitality Management undergraduate certificate provides entry-level management skills for those interested in employment or a career in the field. The certificate articulates into Kent State’s bachelor’s degree in hospitality and event management.
The Associate of Technical Study degree, Individualized Program, is open to students who need a specially designed course of study in a technical field. The program consists of courses that suit the students’ career goals. Course requirements are planned with the help of a faculty advisor and must be approved by the dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies.
The Associate of Applied Business degree in Information Technology provides students with a core curriculum of programming, operating systems and networks, website development, hardware, security fundamentals and workgroup productivity technologies.
The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree provides students with an applied approach that focuses on supporting end users in a variety of workplace settings by utilizing a range of computing technologies. The degree program gives students the tools to support computing and networking infrastructures and the needs of individuals and organizations, write programs necessary to help them render their tasks more efficiently on their desktop or mobile devices, utilize databases and write the web-based interfaces to pull the data, and code and deploy applications across the cloud.
The Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance Studies provides students with the academic background for career entry into the insurance industry. The Bachelor of Integrative Studies degree (BIS) is a College of Arts and Sciences non-major that provides a path to degree completion utilizing an integrative approach while maintaining a focus on career and professional goals. The Magnetic Resonance Imaging undergraduate certificate program provides coursework in anatomy, patient management, procedures, and image production. Students observe magnetic resonance imaging procedures, perform procedures under direct supervision by registered technologists, and complete required clinical competencies toward the national certification exam for magnetic resonance imaging or to be applied toward continuing education requirements as deemed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
The Mammography undergraduate certificate program provides education and training in digital mammography. Mammography is specialized medical imaging that is critical to the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women. Specially trained radiographers, also known as mammographers, are members of breast-imaging teams within health care organizations. Students use the most current versions of business software applications and learn the fundamentals of accounting, automated records management, business communications and resource management.
The Bachelor of Science in Public Health degree broadly prepares students to enter the workforce as a public health professional or to enter an advanced program of study. Students explore the five disciplines of public health: biostatistics, environmental health, epidemiology, health policy and management, and the social and behavioral sciences through general coursework.
The Public Health undergraduate certificate integrates key aspects of preventing disease, prolonging life, and promoting health through the organized efforts and informed choices of society, organizations, communities, and individuals.
