Leadership and Management Graduate Certificate Program Overview

The Leadership and Management graduate certificate prepares participants to serve as responsible leaders in the public, private and, nonprofit organizations. Because the need for leadership and management competence is ubiquitous across all organizations, this certificate program welcomes participants from all fields and undergraduate degree backgrounds.

This is a stackable certificate to the online MBA (with Financial Management Graduate Certificate and completion of Capstone requirements).

Graduates of this program will be able to:

  • Articulate their position and apply their ideas effectively in writing.
  • Articulate their position and apply their ideas orally.
  • Articulate their ideas collaboratively as part of a team and provide some meaningful contribution to the overall team effort.
  • Identify stakeholders related to ethical dilemmas and understand the difference between the ethical and legal aspects of the dilemma.
  • Identify alternatives and consequences regarding an ethical dilemma and support a course of action.

Accreditation: The online MBA is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International).

Leadership and Management Graduate Certificate Admissions Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2.750 undergraduate GPA on a 4.000-point scale
  • Official transcript(s)
  • English language proficiency - all international students must provide proof of English language proficiency (unless they meet specific exceptions) by earning one of the following:
    • Minimum 550 TOEFL PBT score (paper-based version)
    • Minimum 79 TOEFL IBT score (Internet-based version)
    • Minimum 77 MELAB score
    • Minimum 6.5 IELTS score
    • Minimum 58 PTE score
    • Minimum 110 Duolingo English Test score
