- Visit the online student frequently asked questions for assistance with applications, transfers, programs and much more.
- The FLASHcard is your official Kent State University ID card. It may be needed to confirm your identity when taking online proctored assessments. Check the FLASHcard FAQs for instructions and an application form.
- Some classes may include proctored testing. A proctored exam is an exam that is supervised by an automated proctor that ensures the identity of the test taker and the integrity of the test-taking environment. We use the remote test proctoring service, Proctorio. Additional questions about proctored testing? Learn more.
- Kent State University has created policies to ensure the safety of KSU’s students and their work. These policies should be followed to obtain the safest, best education possible here is KSU. Textbooks, computer hardware, software applications, and gifts ranging from T-shirts to diploma frames can be purchased online through the KSU bookstore.
Offering support to online students, Career Exploration and Development is here to assist you with ALL of your career needs. Career Exploration and Development provides a variety of services to help you with career advising, pursuing full-time, part-time, co-op, internship, and student employment opportunities, graduate school preparation, resume, and cover letter critiques, practicing interviewing skills, and navigating Handshake, preparing for career fairs, and more!
For quick career-related questions, you can attend a Virtual Drop-In Session. Each drop-in visit will last about 10-15 minutes, and you can attend multiple sessions throughout the semester. If you have questions that require more in-depth conversations, please schedule a virtual appointment with one of our Career Advisors through KSU Advising.
Career Exploration and Development also hosts Future Focused Friday workshops to help you learn about various topics that will help you pursue your career and beyond. Each Future Focused Friday will be formatted as 30 minutes of presented content and 30 minutes for small group breakout sessions to discuss the material and ask questions. Topics include LinkedIn, Graduate School, Networking, Writing Resumes and Cover Letters, Interviewing, Negotiations, and many more! - Ask a Librarian: Need help, but can’t get to the Library? You can now get expert help from a KSU Librarian via instant text messaging.
- Library Services for Distance Learning Students: University Libraries provide a variety of services to off-campus and distance learning students. These include off-campus delivery (to home or work), ebook access, and access to OhioLINK services.
- Library Research: The library offers several services for research including information about the collection, numerous databases to search, e-books, a journal finder, and tools to assist with citation.
