Apply by April 13th for May 14th start.

The application process is simple, and we're here to guide you through it. The key steps to the application process include:

  • Talk with an Admissions Advisor at 844‑234‑4073 to discuss Kent State's fit with your academic and professional goals
  • Review our admissions checklist
  • Complete the online application form
  • Submit your official undergraduate transcript(s), resume/CV, goal statement and three letters of recommendation
  • You do not need to complete the GRE as a part of the admission process

Admissions Requirements

To be considered for admission, students must have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Tuition and Fees

The online user experience design program is 36 credits in length.

  • In State: The cost per credit hour is $694.00
  • Out of State: The cost per credit hour is $704.00.

An additional Distance Learning fee for all students enrolled in a distance learning course is $15.00 per hour. Program tuition and costs are estimated and subject to change. For comprehensive tuition information, please refer to the tuition rates posted on the Bursar’s website.
